Termaco needed a cinematic product video to launch TREE — their flagship mobile energy storage unit — to a North American B2B audience including major distribution partner United Rentals. HELPY Media produced a 3-minute hybrid video combining studio-quality on-location shooting with purpose-built 3D animation.

Termaco is a Quebec-based industrial power solutions company with decades of expertise in energy systems. Their latest innovation, TREE (Termaco Reserve Electrical Energy), is a mobile, modular battery energy storage unit designed for demanding environments — construction sites, telecom infrastructure, off-grid operations, and large-scale events.
With United Rentals onboard as a key distribution partner across North America, Termaco needed a launch video that could hold its own in a boardroom, on a trade show screen, or in a LinkedIn feed.
TREE is a sophisticated piece of industrial hardware packed with invisible intelligence. Its value proposition — AI-based energy management, multi-source input compatibility, and extended battery life — lives entirely inside a sealed metal cabinet. Nothing about that is easy to show with a camera alone.
Termaco faced three specific challenges:

HELPY Media developed a full hybrid production strategy built on two parallel tracks: cinematic live-action and targeted 3D animation — each doing what the other cannot.
Our role was to bridge engineering precision and brand storytelling, creating a video that feels authoritative to a technical buyer and compelling to an executive decision-maker at the same time.

🎬 Live Production — Studio in the Factory
Rather than renting an external studio, we transformed a controlled zone inside Termaco's facility into a high-end shooting environment. Cold LED directional lighting created a technical, precision-grade aesthetic. Slow camera movements and carefully controlled reflections on the metallic surfaces of the TREE unit gave the footage a cinematic weight that matched the product's industrial credibility.
We captured every key proof point: the structural build quality, panel thickness, ventilation systems, modular architecture, and the control panel in active use — with technicians and engineers as authentic on-screen talent.
🖥️ 3D Animation — Making the Invisible Visible
Four targeted 3D animation sequences were produced to visualize what the camera cannot reach:
Each 3D segment was designed to match Termaco's brand palette and integrate seamlessly with the live footage — never feeling like a tech demo, always feeling like a natural extension of the story.

The result is a 3-minute product video that earns credibility with engineers while inspiring confidence in buyers. Key outcomes:
Before this video, TREE's story lived in spec sheets and sales decks. After, it lives in a visual narrative that can carry the product into any room — a trade show booth, a procurement meeting, a digital campaign.
Termaco now has a flagship content asset that does exactly what great product video should: it makes the viewer feel what the product does before they ever touch it.
Do you have a complex industrial product that deserves a video as sophisticated as the engineering behind it?
At HELPY Media, we specialize in hybrid productions that combine live-action storytelling with motion design and 3D animation — turning technical excellence into visual impact.
